Day 1: Arrival| Sightseeing in Lower Dharamshala
This day, you will be transcended to the world of tranquility. Soak in the fresh air, take rest in your picturesque rooms and freshen up. After having our breakfast, we will drive to HPCA, the stadium which is situated on a highest altitude in entire world provides a very scenic views of the mountains in the background. The breeze is cold and the stadium is well maintained under Himachal cricket association. After recalling the thrilling tales. of Dhoni and Virat, let’s have a bird’s eye view of Tibetan culture. You will drive down to Gyuoto Karmapa Temple in lower Dharamshala. This temple is a must see as the moment you will enter it seems like you have stepped into another world. This monastery is nestled in Dhaualadhar range. The place is simply magical. The architecture is overwhelming, especially the statue of Lord Budha. Then after sometime we will head towards Norbulingka Institute a great place to explore Tibetian culture and art. The main attraction there is Namgayal monastery. For food lovers, Norling cafe is a must visit- gorge on scrumptious Tibetan food.
Then we will head towards our guesthouse. Take rest and hey, don’t forget evening awaits you. Take a stroll to main square market and don’t forget to have to die for waffles, chocolate pastry at Jimmy’s Cafe and Bakery. Later, spend a chilled out time at your hotel while having your dinner and enjoy the warmth of bonfire.
Day 2: Hike to nearby villages
We would recommend you to wake up on time, so that you can experience a beautiful sunrise that Dharamkot has to offer. The sky looks like a painting with hues of orange and yellow. Brace yourself, today, you are in for breathtakingly beautiful view and some adventure. We will hike till Balgaon- a route that passes through Dal Lake, Naddi village ( a beautiful Hamlet) and finally Balgaon. If you have ever dreamed of being in a place which has straight away come out of a fairy tale then this unexplored, quaint gem is your place to be.
Have your lunch here. Also, this place has a mini pool and if you want one can surely take a dip to add on to your adventure quotient. After some time, we will start our walk back to the Hotel. Later in the evening, we would recommend you to go to the the Illiterate cafe – cafe whose wall is surrounded by books and the view which prompts you to come there again and again.
Day 3: Departure
After having breakfast, walk around the town and don’t forget to buy colourful souvenirs for your loved ones and for yourself. After gathering pocket full of experiences, it will be time to bid adieu. Do spread your stories and share your experiences.
